I've had this fan since my first video
about it went live. So, July 25th, 2023,
and it has not let me down. Even after
seeing a lot more fans these days, it's
still one of my go-to ones, especially
considering it's almost always on sale
for around €80 or lower. Now, there is
also a pro model which features a
battery and can thus be used wirelessly,
but here we're focusing on the not so
pro model, which I think is actually a
lot of value. The wind this unit moves
is 0.9 m/s on speed 1. Speed 2 is 1.5
m/s. Speed 3 is 1.9 m/s. And speed 4 is
3.3 m/s. These results are just
perfection for only four speeds. The
first speed is just so nice when you
want a breeze in the evening. Speed two
and three for when it's hot inside. And
you can use speed 4 if you're really hot
or the fan is set further away. I don't
think you need any more than this. Real
quick, if you are also tired of
sugarcoated reviews, hit subscribe as it
helps me out a ton and I can keep doing
this.
Like you've just heard, the fan has four
speeds and two modes, regular mode and
the natural mode. The natural mode is
stronger and gentler gusts of wind, just
like nature. And where the Philips
Series 2000 really just made it go from
speed one to three and called it
natural, here it's actually nice. The
max speed is relatively low, though, so
don't expect mode 4 to be included. But
the wavy natural feeling wind is
definitely there. I still think Dukes is
king when it comes to this mode though.
You can set a timer, have it oscillate
horizontally, and it's a smart fan, so
you can download the Xiaomi Home app and
control it from there, too. There is
really annoying sounds on this thing,
but luckily you can turn those off
completely. And there's even a child
lock feature hidden in the app as well.
A customizable oscillation angle is also
within the app, which is a premium
feature, and this is definitely the
cheapest fan I've ever seen that has
that built in. Awesome to see. You can
choose from 30 to 140° and it all works
fantastic. Because it's a smart fan, you
can also set a schedule for if you want
it to turn on automatically. Lastly, you
can also set the vertical position, but
this is done manually. And even though
automatically is even better, this is
the best fan when it comes to the manual
positioning of the fan head. It's
stepless, so you can set it however you
like. And there is no outdated system
where it would angle forward or
backwards if you set it up like that.
Philillips, I'm looking at you. Also, no
clicks. This is just done really nicely.
The build quality is also really good.
Partly aluminium, partly plastic, but no
weak points. Very stable, not shaky at
all. And I think it looks fantastic as
well. something which goes with a lot of
interior designs as it's sort of
neutral. A modern take on the
traditional fan design. It does not come
with a remote, but you don't need it
here in my opinion. Assembly is really
easy. You can just push in the parts and
they click nicely to give you the
feedback that indeed it's installed
correctly. And you can also remove one
part of the pole to make it a smaller
tabletop like fan. It's 1 m in total
height, 65 cm in height when it's the
tabletop fan, and the fan head has a
diameter of 35 cm. I can definitely
recommend this fan. The fact that I
still use this for over 2 years, and it
does not squeak or anything is saying a
lot. And so, without wasting any more of
your time, I'll leave you with how this
fan sounds on all four speeds. Thank you
for watching and don't forget to check
out my other fan videos.
